What is SamePlay?
SamePlay is a competitive gaming platform where you can challenge other players to head-to-head matches across dozens of games. Stake points, climb leaderboards, join teams, and compete in tournaments to prove you're the best.
How do challenges work?
You create a challenge by choosing a game, selecting an opponent (or posting it openly), and setting a point stake. Both players play the match, then submit their results. If both agree on the outcome, the winner receives double the stake. If there's a disagreement, either player can open a dispute.
Are the points real money?
No. SamePlay uses a virtual points system for competition and ranking purposes only. Points are earned through challenges and determine your rank on the leaderboard. They have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for real currency.
How do I report a player?
You can report a player by visiting their profile and using the report option, or by opening a dispute on a specific challenge. You can also block players from the settings menu to prevent further interaction. Our admin team reviews all reports and takes action to ensure fair play.
How does the dispute system work?
If you believe a challenge result is unfair, you can open a dispute and submit evidence (such as screenshots or recordings). Your opponent can then submit counter-evidence. Our admin team reviews both sides and makes a final ruling. Points are held in escrow until the dispute is resolved.
How do I reset my password?
On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password" and enter your email address. You'll receive a password reset link. If you're already logged in, you can change your password from Settings. If you're still having trouble, email us at sameplay25@gmail.com.
How do I delete my account?
You can request account deletion by contacting us at sameplay25@gmail.com. We will permanently remove your account and all associated data within 30 days. Please note that this action is irreversible -- all your challenges, messages, team memberships, and stats will be permanently deleted.
What age do I need to be to use SamePlay?
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use SamePlay. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we discover an underage account, it will be removed immediately.

Troubleshooting Tips

App not loading properly

Try closing and reopening the app. If the issue persists, clear the app cache or reinstall from the App Store / Google Play.

Not receiving notifications

Check that notifications are enabled in your device settings for SamePlay, and also verify your in-app notification preferences under Settings.

Challenge not updating

Pull down to refresh on any screen. If a challenge seems stuck, both players may need to submit or confirm their results for it to progress.

Can't log in

Double check your email and password. Use "Forgot Password" to reset. If your account was created via an admin invite, check your email for a password setup link.

SamePlay uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to show relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.
